Welcome to the Home of the Royals!

Welcome to the Hamilton Southeastern High School. We are a high-performing, comprehensive high school, offering students the opportunity to have a varied and tailored educational experience.

Besides the usual high school courses, we offer dual credit courses (AP, ACP, CNA, Welding, EMT, and other dual credit offerings associated with IVY Tech and Ball State). There are 19 different IHSAA sport programs available for students with opportunities at the freshman, junior varsity and varsity levels. There are also more than 60 student-initiated clubs sponsored by staff. In addition, there are also club sport offerings for students as well as engaging visual, performing and practical arts programs. 

We take our responsibility of preparing students for the next step of their life very seriously as is demonstrated through our College and Career Academy, the expanded career mentoring program, and the flex period opportunity for qualifying seniors.

A guiding principle that students and staff hear every day is, “Take pride in yourself and in the Royals.” Everyone in the building is viewed as a member of the “Royal Family.” HHS staff understand that relationships are most important in the life of a school. Students and staff work collaboratively to enhance the student educational experience. Students are encouraged to get involved in activities that interest them and to take charge of their learning. I am looking forward to an exciting and productive year!
